This week, the project week took place at the Garbeck elementary school Drei Könige!

The motto of the project week was MINT, which stands for mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. The students had the opportunity to get a look into different areas and companies.

Our trainees also used this opportunity to arouse the elementary school students' interest in technology. On Tuesday, they visited the students in the elementary school's technology workshop. On Wednesday and Thursday, the elementary school students came to our company: After a short tour of our company and a joint breakfast, they built balloon vehicles in our training workshop. Afterwards, they were allowed to visit our warehouse and each took a ride with the order picker, which caused a lot of enthusiasm among the children. To conclude the project week at RICKMEIER, the primary school children started water rockets together with our apprentices!
