Balve is situated in the Märkische Kreis (county) near the cities of Dortmund, Lüdenscheid and Menden directly on the federal road B 229 between Lüdenscheid and Arnsberg. Coming from the south or west you will exit the motorway A 45 at exit no. 14-Lüdenscheid / Werdohl. You then take the B 229 to Werdohl, and from there on continue to Neuenrade. Stay on the B 229 in the direction of Balve. Having passed the sign at the town limit at Langenholthausen, turn left into the direction of Garbeck. After about 3 km you will find RICKMEIER on the left-hand side. The distance from the motorway exit Lüdenscheid / Werdohl is 25 km, it takes you about 35 minutes to complete this trip. Coming from the north or the east you may also use motorway A 44 and at the motorway interchange Werl take the A 46 / A 445 in the direction of Arnsberg. Kindly take exit no. 64-Neheim-Hüsten. There you continue on the federal road B 229 via Hachen to Balve. Drive through the town. After about 2 km you turn right in Langenholthausen in the direction of Garbeck. After about 3 km you will find RICKMEIER on the left-hand side. Have a good trip.
