Commissioning of a cold water plant at RICKMEIER
In the past months, a cold water system was built at RICKMEIER. With this cooling system, processing machines in the production area and the test benches can be supplied with cold water. This means that the previous heat exchangers on the machines can be dispensed with, so that no heat is dissipated into the environment and the room climate does not deteriorate accordingly. Due to the refrigeration system and the elimination of many individual units, the maintenance effort is reduced and the probability of failure without a directly available replacement is eliminated. Due to two separate circuits, there is fail safety. The lower energy requirement, however, brings one of the greatest advantages. By using outdoor coolers, power-intensive cooling at temperatures between -3°C and approx. 18°C can be avoided.
